Our Journey Together
From the Same Place, Different Paths
Stoney and Jesusa both grew up in Balbalasang, in the same small community where everyone somehow knows everyone. Yet their lives moved in different circles. Stoney was four years ahead, while Jesusa left early to study in Tabuk, and later worked in Manila and even abroad. Along the way, both learned to carry their own responsibilities, helping their families in their own ways.
A Meeting in God's Perfect Time
Years passed, and life took them far from where they started. Then came the fiesta in 2022. In the middle of that familiar celebration, they were reintroduced. What began as a simple conversation slowly found meaning. It wasn’t easy—Stoney was teaching at BAIHS, while Jesusa was in Vietnam—but they stayed connected.
A Love Patiently Written
In time, what they found was something steady and real. In December 2023, they had their Solwak, a step that deepened their commitment to one another. With the blessing of their parents, and most of all, with the Lord’s blessing that matters most, they now prepare to walk forward together—as husband and wife, and as one story.
